Summer Class Sign-up: Montessori Farm School at Love's Organic Farm

 At Love's Organic Farm, we are delighted to introduce our Montessori Farm School — a hands-on enrichment program where children learn through nature, soil, and meaningful work.

Designed especially for homeschooled children, our farm school nurtures curiosity, responsibility, creativity, and reverence for the land. Here, children don’t just learn about food — they grow it, care for it, harvest it, and transform it into nourishment.

This is education that is alive, embodied, and deeply connected to the rhythms of Maui and the wisdom of creation.

Day: Wednesdays

Time: 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Ages:

• Primary group: 3–6 years (officially homeschooled)

• Optional enrichment group: 6–9 years

Tuition:

• $100 per day
• $400 per month (once weekly attendance)
• Monthly enrollment required
• Payment due by the last day of the previous month

Food & Values:

• Children bring their own lunch and water bottle

• Lunches on the land are plant-based

• Program values are grounded in Christian principles

Our Montessori farm curriculum blends science, ecology, practical life skills, and wonder.

Children will explore:

• 🌱 Growing food from seed to harvest

• 🌍 Regenerative farming and soil care

• 🪱 Composting and natural fertilizers

• 🌿 Plant life cycles and ecosystems

• 🐞 Beneficial insects and companion plants

• 💧 Water, air, sunlight, soil, and nutrients

• 🥕 Harvesting, preparing, and sharing food

• 🧠 How nature nourishes our bodies and communities

Learning happens through real work:

planting seeds, tending beds, observing insects, harvesting crops, preparing simple foods, and caring for the farm together.
